Dear friends, herewith we introduce the delegation of Beijing Kundawell Medical Institute. Among presenters is of course Professor Xu Mingtang who was introduced right at the beginning. The topic of his presentation will be Comparison of Image Medicine and Quantum Physics.

And also Master Shi Yanlin, vice-principal of the Shaolin Monastery and head of its Medical Centre who will talk about Shaolin Buddhist Medicine. We wrote about him too.

Experience from the practice of Petr Kochlik indicates that sometimes it is possible to improve our health by truly simple work with the images. It is not necessary to be a professional or a long-term practitioner. In his presentation he will mention several such examples from his personal experience as well as from the experience of his students. The discussed health problems are mostly various illnesses and problems of the heart. Petr Kochlik is a long-standing Zhong Yuan Qigong practitioner, instructor of 3 levels and Head of the Zhong Yuan Qigong Česká republika. 

Antra Briede is a medical doctor, involved with orthomolecular medicine. Her presentation is a follow up to Edgars Vasilevskis’s presentation of the results of the first clinical research of treatment of diseases by Image Medicine that is be carried out in Latvia. Latvian ZYQ association, Endocrinology centre of University Hospital Stradins in Riga and Beijing Kundawell Medical Institute are taking part. Edgars Vasilevskis will concentrate on health aspects of the research.

Antra Briede will talk about planning, organisation and actual progress of the research including patients with arterial hypertension, bronchial asthma, diabetes of second type, and migraine. Patients visited Image Medicine therapists 10 – 15 times, whereas their health condition was concurrently monitored by Western medicine doctors – before IM treatment, immediately after the IM treatment, one month after the IM treatment and the last check up is planned three months from the end of the IM treatment . The goal of her presentation is to share experience with organisation of such a research and draw attention to possibilities as well as difficulties  of research projects combining Eastern and Western medicine.

Marina Haternova is a 3rd level Zhong Yuan Qigong (ZYQ) instructor with a right to lead retreats. She lives in Chisinau. In her work as an instructor she is also teaching children. Training of children is a very interesting yet challenging work. It requires a lot of attention, creativity and deep understanding of children’s psychology. It is also necessary to study which practices are adequate for them, how to do them and in what length. However, it is possible to show the ZYQ exercises to kids in a way they find interesting, when combined with other types of arts and games.

ZYQ can improve children’s health and also help to improve school results and develop abilities in the areas of science and arts. Marina’s presentation is aimed at those with pedagogical, psychological or medical education, but also on all instructors who would like to help children on a really professional level. In her presentation she will describe work with mind images to develop children’s abilities.
